Lansing, MI – After announcements from the local Emergency Management team regarding severe weather conditions, Downtown Fall Fest, scheduled for Thursday, October 20, 2011, has been cancelled.
We apologize to all those who were looking forward to attending the event.
There was an incredible response and we were all very excited about the
opportunity to celebrate the fall with everyone at this first-ever event.
Rains and high winds expected tomorrow morning will unfortunately cause
unsafe conditions for the set-up of the tent and event preparations. Rain is
forecasted to possibly taper off in the evening, but event organizers do not wish
to put anyone in unsafe conditions for preparation of what was expected to be a
successful Fall Fest.
